Buffalo scored a touchdown on its first drive of the game and never looked back, as the Bills cruised to a 31-6 victory over New Orleans in the Thanksgiving Day closer.
Josh Allen was both efficient and explosive, completing 23 of 28 passes for 260 yards and four touchdowns. Allen now has 25 passing touchdowns in 11 games this year, a pace that is tied with Jim Kelly (1991) for the best in team history through 11 games. It was also Allen’s ninth-straight game with 200-plus passing yards, which ties a team record. Dawson Knox added a record of his own, as his two touchdown receptions gave him eight scores on the season, which sets a new franchise single-season high for tight ends.
The Bills defense was just as impressive, as they held the Saints to only 44 rushing yards and 190 total yards. Buffalo did suffer what could be a major injury, as star cornerback Tre’Davious White left the game in the second quarter with a knee injury and did not return.
Buffalo (7-4) hosts New England on Monday night next week. New Orleans (5-6) hosts Dallas in the Week 13 Thursday night game.
